THE ASTRACHROME SPRAY CHROME SYSTEM - Stage 3.

The final top-coating stage, uses clear lacquers specially developed for the AstraChrome system by a major aerospace paint finisher, and are made to aeronautical standards. They are specially formulated for both the adhesion to the metal layer, and for the greatest possible clarity. There are several variations of top-coat available from Spray Chrome Solutions, to provide for non-standard projects, as well as the more straight forward applications. They can provide top-coats, for instance with the addition of glass flakes, to give exceptional abrasion resistance, and a highly stable UV clear coat, suitable for marine, and desert use.   The “Chrome” finish can be coloured by tinting the top-coat lacquer, using the AstraChrome systems special range of ultra-clear dyes, designed to retain the ultimate clarity of finish.
