THE ASTRACHROME SPRAY CHROME SYSTEM - Stage 2.

The second stage of the process, is the actual spraying-on of the “Chrome” which uses a unique system of water-based plating solutions. Simply sprayed onto the workpiece, they have been developed to react with each other, and with the base-coat, to provide a lustrous, mirror-sharp plated layer. The AstraChrome chemical solutions are supplied as concentrates, which are  diluted with De-ionised water before use. The formulations are proprietary, and cannot be mixed with other manufacturers materials.

The AstraChrome spray-on plating system gives a denser, higher lustre, than any of the competing systems, because of its unique dual-phase reducer.  The dual-phase reducer, which is unique to Spray Chrome Solutions', AstraChrome system, combines the advantages of the two different processes going on together. The quick-action phase of the reducer starts the plating process quickly, increasing the plating efficiency, while the slow-phase component of the reducer, ensures the final lustre exceeds that of any competing system.
